Many ads say CLA supplements there is no scientific evidence that burn fat and lose body weight of the conjugated linoleic acid helps. The ads are not necessarily bad. But sources usually do not say how much you lose. And here is where things get complicated.
How much weight can I lose with CLA?
There have been promising studies suggest that CLA may improve body composition and weight loss. However, there were many early studies in mice. When the researchers treated the same experiments on humans, the results were not so clear.
Studies have shown that weight loss shown in humans, the amount of weight loss with CLA is usually quite low. For example, a study in China has shown that over a period of 12 weeks, those of CLA lost about a pound more than those who CLA. It is less than a tenth of a pound per week. The decrease in body fat percentage and was very low. People who have a CLA supplement had a decrease in body fat less than one point lower than those who had not half the share of the pill.
Other studies have similar results. In another recent report, researchers evaluated the results of studies in which eighteen participants took the supplement for a longer period (6 months to 2 years). The researchers found that, on average, lost people, the supplement of CLA has more fat than those who do take CLA, but the average amount of less than a quarter of a pound per week.
Of course, this is positive only. There are also many studies that show no weight loss and not fat loss in humans participants, the conjugated linoleic acid.
Should I take a supplement of CLA?
If you take a supplement of conjugated linoleic acid is yours. But make sure that you understand the facts before you buy. It is possible that CLA can help you lose weight, but there is a possibility that it make any noticeable difference at all. Always consult your doctor to ensure that the pill is safe for you, then make a decision based on facts.
