Increasing omega-3 fatty acids in the diet ...

The omega-3 fatty acids are always in the news, but do you really know what to eat to get to your diet? Now things are about to get the fish ... because if you want to get a dose of healthy fats in your diet, it's time to serve seafood.

Why Seafood?

Yes seafood are naturally low in fat, and almost all seafood is low in cholesterol (shrimp in cholesterol higher, but still lower than in many other meats high in saturated fatty acids). Fish is an excellent source of high quality protein and vitamins and minerals. A 3-ounce serving of fish provides about 120 calories on average.

While there are some types of fish pregnant and lactating women (even those who are trying to get pregnant) and children should not eat because of high mercury levels, fish can be a healthy part of almost every diet. The American Heart Association recommends that we eat at least two servings per week.

Tip: fish species in small doses containing mercury light tuna, salmon, pollock and catfish.

How to choose an omega-3-rich fish

Omega-3 fatty acids are found in all kinds of seafood, but levels vary for different types of fish. Salmon, tuna and mackerel are among the richest sources of omega-3 fatty acids. Trout, herring and sardines are also a good choice.

Here are some fruits of the common sea and its omega-3 levels in 3-ounce serving fatty acids choice:

  • Canned Light Tuna: .17 to .24 grams
  • Shrimp: 0.29 grams
  • Pollock: 0.45 g
  • Mahi Mahi: 0.13 grams
  • 0.028 grams: Orange roughy

Healthy Meal Ideas on the Go

Zaggora Hotwear: You must burn more calories?

I like clothes stress tests, especially if the brand is new and drawings are interesting. So if Zaggora Hotwear ads began to appear on my Facebook, feed this seemed like a good idea to give them a chance. Capri Chapo design looked fun and I love the bright colors. So I have a few pieces of Zaggora and gave them a chance.

What Zaggora Hot Pants?

Zaggora is a trademark of exercise that will help you burn more calories during the workout and all day wear. Do I have the results? No, I can not be surprised not long enough to be worn to see a change of clothing, but when I lost water weight during the experiment. Zaggora science?

What is a Twerkout?

This week I had a request from a publisher to write an article about a unit twerking session. F UN training are more effective

  1. Eat more at home.

    The United States spends hundreds of dollars a month in the restaurant. You are your budget and your waistline make a favor by eating at home more often. If you eat a few times a week, enough money spent to buy the ingredients for several meals.


    What to do with weight loss? When preparing your own food, you have complete control over the manufacturing process, fat, calories and portion sizes. Moreover, it is not trying to "get their money" by eating at another trip to a buffet ... not to mention that it is not tempted by a dessert menu or home much!

Many ads say CLA supplements there is no scientific evidence that burn fat and lose body weight of the conjugated linoleic acid helps. The ads are not necessarily bad. But sources usually do not say how much you lose. And here is where things get complicated.

How much weight can I lose with CLA?

There have been promising studies suggest that CLA may improve body composition and weight loss. However, there were many early studies in mice. When the researchers treated the same experiments on humans, the results were not so clear.

Studies have shown that weight loss shown in humans, the amount of weight loss with CLA is usually quite low. For example, a study in China has shown that over a period of 12 weeks, those of CLA lost about a pound more than those who CLA. It is less than a tenth of a pound per week. The decrease in body fat percentage and was very low. People who have a CLA supplement had a decrease in body fat less than one point lower than those who had not half the share of the pill.

Other studies have similar results. In another recent report, researchers evaluated the results of studies in which eighteen participants took the supplement for a longer period (6 months to 2 years). The researchers found that, on average, lost people, the supplement of CLA has more fat than those who do take CLA, but the average amount of less than a quarter of a pound per week.

Of course, this is positive only. There are also many studies that show no weight loss and not fat loss in humans participants, the conjugated linoleic acid.

Should I take a supplement of CLA?

If you take a supplement of conjugated linoleic acid is yours. But make sure that you understand the facts before you buy. It is possible that CLA can help you lose weight, but there is a possibility that it make any noticeable difference at all. Always consult your doctor to ensure that the pill is safe for you, then make a decision based on facts.
